About Us
We met in 2019 and quickly bonded over a shared passion for ethical advice and a desire to see financial planning evolve into a true profession. Over the years, we’ve challenged each other, supported each other’s growth, and built a strong friendship—despite having different styles, we share the same commitment to empathy, clarity, and client-first advice.

After the success of our first podcast Challenge the Standard, a podcast to help Financial Advisers, Weaving Gold: A Money Podcast felt like the natural next step.
This show brings the same care we give our clients one on one to a broader community—real conversations, thoughtful guidance, and a focus on helping people through life’s biggest transitions.

Jordan Vaka
I'm Jordan Vaka, an independent financial adviser and founder of PlanningSolo, where I specialise in helping people navigate life's significant transitions—divorce, bereavement, and retirement.
With nearly 20 years in the industry, I’ve come to understand that financial advice is as much about empathy and understanding as it is about numbers and strategies.
At PlanningSolo, I focus on providing clear, jargon-free guidance to those who may feel overwhelmed or inexperienced with financial matters, especially during emotionally challenging times.

Nathan Fradley
I'm Nathan Fradley, an independent financial adviser and founder of Fradley Advice, where I specialise in helping people through some of life’s most challenging moments—Divorce, Aged Care decisions, and Complex Estates.

With over 14 years of experience, I’ve always believed that good advice isn’t just about the numbers—it’s about empathy, timing, and helping people feel confident when things feel uncertain. I launched Fradley Advice to offer specialist support in those critical transition points where both financial and emotional complexity collide.
